Stone: River basalt and granite cobble
A private garden path following the natural contour of the site down towards the river boundary. The path uses river basalt for the main surface with granite cobble edging — chosen for their resistance to the damp conditions near the water.
The client wanted a path that felt as though it had always been part of the garden. The stone was sourced to match the existing boundary wall, and the layout was designed to encourage a slow, meandering walk rather than a direct route.
